A section corresponds to ten centimeters
Your child can sort the bars by size, into a vertical or horizontal staircase.
As a result, your child will very quickly recognize that there is an additional section from the one-bar to the ten-bar, thereby experiencing the amount (quantity)
- The child experiences the quantity and size of the individual bars
- Understanding the crowd
Through the sticks, the child can have the first experience of indirect addition, by placing different numerical sticks on top of each other and counting the sections
